Zdenek Musil graduated from Conservatoire in Brno and Prague Academy of Performing Arts (AMU). While a student he won the second prise in A. Dvorak's competition in Karlovy Vary. Continued with learning and taking courses in Italy (Mr. Alda Peduzzi, Giuseppe Valdeng, Vinzenz la Ferla, Paola de Napoli, Raimond Mettre).

The listeners awarded his choral and performing art in Milano, Nervian, Monze, Solingen, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe as well as many Italian viewers. In the Czech Republic he introduced himself as a style performer of Mozart's (Rossini, Verdi, Bizet) music and of course Czech composers as A. Dvorak, B. Smetana or B. Martinu.

He held a theatre spectator's interest by sonorous bass in Liberec, Plzen, Usti nad Labem and Prague. Besides on of his professions as a soloist in State Opera Prague, Mozart's Opera, State Theatre - where it would be hard to imagine a part of Don Giovanni without his Leporell (during the Mozart's day there).
